The choice of whether you use a program on your machine or use an on-line service will be dictated by what sort of Internet service you have. What is not dictated is your Email address and I highly recommend that you do not take one associated with you Internet Service provider, why you ask,
well to get the best deal on price and service your going to try different services.
By all means have a deal with Movistar for a year but your price will double after the first year and you need to look at changing to Jazztel, Vodafone, ONo, or whoever, if you took an address with them, you will need to inform all your contacts of the new address and you know some will miss that mail. Get an address with Yahoo.co.uk, Hotmail, Gmail and you will never need to change again they all offer unlimited storage for your mails so you can keep everything, whereas often with the ISPs you'll be limited to 50 to a 100 mb. All of the aforementioned will collect mail for you from your old address which again if sensible for those friends who missed your mail regard the new address. This rational also applies to the UK, USA or wherever, don't tie yourself down, I don't expect you to listen but when it happens I'll be able to say "I told you so, ya boo"
PS be careful to choose a sensible address and that they support POP or Imap client usage without cost.
